About IP Address Lookup & Info

Instantly see your public IP address and detailed geolocation information: country, city, region, ISP/organization, timezone, latitude/longitude, and whether the IP is a proxy or VPN exit node. Also look up any other IP address. Useful for debugging network issues, verifying VPN connections, checking where your server's IP appears to be located, or investigating suspicious IP addresses.

All processing happens entirely in your browser using modern web APIs. Nothing is uploaded to our servers — your data stays local and private. Free to use forever, with a Pro plan for power users who want an ad-free experience and API access.

Common use cases

  • Checking your public IP address to configure a firewall whitelist
  • Verifying that your VPN is active and routing traffic through the expected country
  • Looking up the geolocation of an IP address from server logs
  • Checking whether a suspicious IP is a known proxy or datacenter exit node
  • Finding the ISP and region of an IP for abuse reporting

How it works

Makes a request to a public IP geolocation API (ipapi.co or similar). For "My IP", the API automatically returns information about the requesting client's IP. For manual lookups, the IP address is passed as a path parameter. Geolocation data is approximate — IP-based location is accurate to city level in most cases but not precise to street address.
