By accessing or using ilovedev ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

Description of Service

ilovedev provides a collection of free, browser-based developer tools for formatting, encoding, decoding, generating, and converting data. All tools run entirely in your browser using client-side JavaScript.

Use of the Service

Permitted Use

You may use ilovedev for any lawful purpose, including:

  • Personal or commercial projects
  • Professional software development
  • Educational purposes

Prohibited Use

You may NOT:

  • Scrape, crawl, or systematically download the Service using automated tools (bots, spiders) in a way that burdens our infrastructure
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
  • Use the Service to process illegal content or content that violates third-party rights
  • Resell or redistribute the Service as your own product
  • Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices

ilovedev Pro Subscription

Billing

ilovedev Pro is a paid subscription service billed monthly at $7/month. Payment is processed via LemonSqueezy. You can cancel anytime from your account dashboard.

Cancellation & Refunds

You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access until then. We do not offer refunds for partial months.

Pro Features

ilovedev Pro includes:

  • Ad-free experience
  • API access (up to 100 requests/day)
  • AI-powered features (e.g., regex explanations)
  • Bulk processing for some tools

We reserve the right to modify Pro features or pricing with 30 days' notice.

Intellectual Property

The code, design, branding, and content of ilovedev are owned by the Service operator and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without permission.

Open-source libraries: ilovedev uses open-source libraries (React, Next.js, CodeMirror, etc.) licensed under their respective terms. These libraries remain the property of their authors.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE:

  • That the tools will be error-free or produce correct results
  • That the Service will be available 24/7 without downtime
  • That any defects will be corrected

You use the Service at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING:

  • Loss of data or profits
  • Business interruption
  • Errors in tool output that affect your work

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months (or $0 if you are a free user).

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ilovedev and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in abusive behavior (e.g., DoS attacks, spam, harassment).

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via the homepage or email (for Pro subscribers). Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing Law
