ilovedev is designed with privacy as a core principle. All tools run entirely in your browser using client-side JavaScript. Your data never leaves your device.

Data We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit:

  • Any input you paste into our tools
  • Any output generated by our tools
  • Your IP address or device identifiers (beyond what your browser provides)
  • Personal information of any kind

Analytics

We use privacy-friendly analytics (self-hosted Umami) to understand aggregate usage patterns:

  • Page views (which tools are most popular)
  • Referral sources (how you found us)
  • Approximate geographic location (country-level only, via IP)
  • Browser and device type

This data is anonymized, aggregated, and cannot be used to identify you personally. No cookies are used for analytics tracking.

Third-Party Services

Google AdSense (Free Users)

If you use the free version of ilovedev, we display ads via Google AdSense. Google may use cookies and tracking technologies in accordance with their own privacy policy. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.

LemonSqueezy (Pro Subscribers)

If you subscribe to ilovedev Pro, payment processing is handled by LemonSqueezy. They collect payment information (credit card, billing address) as necessary to complete your purchase. We do not store your payment details.

Local Storage

We use your browser's localStorage to remember:

  • Your theme preference (dark/light mode)
  • Recently used tools (for quick access)

This data never leaves your device and can be cleared at any time by clearing your browser storage.

Security

Because we never receive your data, there is no server-side data to secure. All tool processing happens locally in your browser using Web APIs (Web Crypto, TextEncoder, etc.). Your data is as secure as your device.

Children's Privacy

ilovedev is a general-purpose developer tool site. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child, please contact us.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
